Replacement csaes for cordless batteries

Any one ever find the shell for cordless batteries?
One of my Panasonic 15.6v took its final dive and I don’t think I can repair it.
But the cells are still good and all attached and connected, they just need to be clipped to the drill…
Wrecked Angle, You got one any experience here??
thanx in advance

I haven't had to replace the shell on a battery, but I did change out the shell of the drill itself (after dropping it).
The drill shell was about $20 as I recall.

Where did you find the shell? I have a Bosch 24v that I need to replace the shell on.
Wake me up before you go-go.
I took it to a tool place that does repair, and they ordered up a new shell from Panasonic********************************************************

Unfortunately the drill is too new to have many people with dead batteries (for the drill, I mean).
You might check with one of the battery rebuilding outfits on the web, if your Panasonic dealer can't get you a replacement shell.
Go to a place that collects uses batteries like batteries plus.
Then see if they have your style in the bin.
As Dan said, unlikely. Contact panasonic, but again, highly unlikely.
I'd use the batteries to fix a dead dewalt instead.

go some place that accepts dead batteries for recycle....
snag one from them...
rebuild yours and take the left overs for recycle...

buya new drill, the same exact one if possible, take the new fresh battery out and put the broken one in its place. Now return the drill to Home Depot. The dopey kid behind the counter will probably never even open the box to look at it. Job Complete.

I'm hoping that was tongue-in-cheek. Reminds me of the half bucket of thin-set I bought one early morning at Depot.
If I return something cause its broken, I take a big sharpie and write "broken" right across the box.
I've been the guy that bought the broken stuff too many times.
I also hope it was tounge in cheek. But not so sure it was. I see too much of that stuff go on, and like you have been on the receiving end of the results. Someone is doing it.
My statement allowed for either way.
