Had to build a staircase this week and I needed to round over the tread edges so I reach for my trusty Bosch router only to find the switch is full of sawdust again. This time no go at all. Luckily my buddy had his Ryobi on the truck so I could finish the job.
Getting a little sick of this. I bought the Bosch to replace my Ryobi and look what I got.
Guess I shoulda stuck the Ryobi.
Family…..They’re always there when they need you.

PC my man! Sell that tool on Craigslist and buy a real router!
PC ain't what she used to be.
Every once in a while my Bosch needs a shot of air blown through the switch to get going but it plowed all these flutes, no problem:

I have some routers that are Stanley which are 29 years old and still going strong. Later I bought several Bosch routers and they are still going strong today. During that time had some Rockwell routers and all of them are dead except one which had a set screw come loose inside and rattled around. So I have not bought any PC routers since. A few years ago friend of mine and I decided to buy a PC framing gun and both guns were plugged in at the same time and lasted less than 2 hours before leaking. I do won some smaller PC guns and they seem to be fine.
