Was hoping someone  had some experience with residing a few sides of a house with vinyl while leaving the rest aluminum. Whats the best way to deal with the corners. My thought is to replace the corner piece w/ a vinyl one. Because it will be bigger I will cut back the aluminum siding. I will slide the new corner in while only being able to nail one side. Will I have to face nail some of the Alum siding? BTW, two sides of my house siding is trashed, very dented and if u can believe this while sealing the deck the previous owner sprayed sealer about 3 ft high along the whole back side of the house …it does not come off. The vinyl matches very well. The front of the house is all brick the one wall that remains alum  has alot of plants and goes 2 stories high…this is a 4,000 sf house. There is also some siding that can’t really be seen on the house above the garage roof. Thanks for any suggestions
