I’m replacing a sheet vinyl floor in a mudroom, was planning to use porcelain tile, but my handyman recommended something called “resilient ceramic tile.” It’s actually vinyl tile, but it has a textured aluminum oxide finish and does actually look a lot like tile. The plus is that it doesn’t crack–it is about 1/6″ thick, basically a super-heavy vinyl tile. Manufactured by Metroflor (they call it Solidity). Anyone has experience with it? I’ve found little on the web. Thanks.

I recently instal;led a bunch of Adura by Mannington. Comes in about 10 styles/patterns, and about 6 colors per style. Very thick, and about 18" square. Difficult to cut with a utility knife. The downside is that you see the hairlinr joints like regular vct.
