I’m starting an insulation project on the exterior walls of a 100 year old house in Maryland with no existing insulation. I spoke w/ a foam installer(Polymaster: http://www.polymaster.com) and got a quote, but it seems very expensive…almost 2x cellulose cost. Does anyone have experience w/ these products? The obvious choice seems to be blown in cellulose b/c of the price and insulation value, my concern here is with settling over the years. The liquid foam would be nice; guaranteed not to settle, higher R value, but expensive.
Any thoughts? Thanks, Bryan
