I am wanting retrofit a raised panel wall system into my dining room. It would likely be only for the bottom portion of the wall. Would the paneling typically be placed on top of the drywall already there or would the drywall be cut out and be replaced by the paneling/stiles and rails? Obviously, the existing door/window/baseboard trim would have to be taken into consideration as well. Any good reference material known for doing this type of retrofit? Other issues such as electrical/phone/cable jacks have to be addressed also. thanks Bob
