Dan,in my cabinet shop I,ve never used a router bit to cut the cope and patterns on the stiles and rails. I use the six piece sets for the shaper, but the result is the same. I would cut the ends of the rails first using a backup board on the exiting side of the cut, this way any tearout that occurs can be removed with the pattern cut. You can also run your stiles in long lenghts and cut them to lenght later on, this also allows you to work around the snipe marks that will inevitably appear at the begining and end of the cut. Once you cut the rails, use the profile on the end of a cut rail to set the depth for the stile profile. Hope this helps. JOHN T.
