Hello all-
I’m installing new fixtures in a circa 1977 house. All the boxes say to check with a qualified electrician because homes wired before 1985 had insulation rated at 60 degree C. Homes after 1985 have 90 degree insulation. Does this really matter? I’ve never noticed this on any fixture before, must be something in the last year??? Any help appreciated!
