Rigid 12″ sliding compound saw

I was considering purchasing Rigid’s 12″ sliding compound miter saw. This would be my first purchase of a Rigid tool and I’m looking for some feed back on this saw. Thanks.

Funny, I took a passing glance at that monster today and wondered if it came with its own whellbarrow to lug it around in. Sucker is huuuge. It dwarfs my 12" Makita slider.
I finally took some time today in HD to look at some of thre new tools, and some are impressive. I always read labels, and the ones made in Germany seem nice. The Chinese tools also seem better than the other Chinese brands.
Do it right, or do it twice.
May be, all I know is, the SCMS that I looked at needed its own zip code. It had more square footage for a foot print than the state of Rhode Island. I just couldn't see my aching back lugging that monster anywhere. Bad enough the sliders are heavy, do they have to make them massive as well?
I did pick up a dust filter thingy a few weeks back. On sale for half price. It's slung from the joists in the shop and sucks up the dust instead of my lungs.
I never met a tool I didn't like!
