I’m thinking of buying a Rigid portable table saw. Does anybody know where I can find a review or two on this thing?

I don't know where to find a review, but I've been abusing mine daily for 3 or 4 years. Never a problem, and no complaints.
I'd buy another one in a second.
Are you down with OPP?
I may be needing to purchase a portable table saw for a job coming up, but am not sure yet. I have read with interest the strong support here on BT for Rigid's version and have read excellent reviews on different websites. The interesting thing is that I have looked in 3 different HDepot stores and not one of them has this item in stock!! They all have 3-4 different RYOBI brand, and they all have the chop saws. But not one has the portable table saw. Either they can't keep it in stock, or they don't want to."The nearest thing to eternal life we will ever see on this earth is a governmental program" -Ronald Reagan
Review - might check Tools of the Trade.
Our local Habitat has one. It gets rode hard and put away wet. It has held up well for years. I would certainly consider it myself, but my old Makita won't die. The A List saws in that market are the R, DeWalt and Bosch.
However, I think hooking it to the 240 outlet was a bit over the top. It took some work, but they managed it. God loves morons. His most popular model.
