I am needing torun cat5e and coaxial thru conduit (1 1/2″ pvc) from my telephone box/satellite dish outside on garage, thru house crawl space and come up in an interior wall to my media panel. It will be underground from garage to house for about 10 feet. Would it be better to go directly thru cinder block wall under ground so it is not visible (using a roof vent sleave/roofing tar to seal breach in wall for pipe), or elbow up and go directly thru the rim joist using something like an EMT elbow? For looks would be better to have buried and thru crawl space wall, but worry about water penetrating over time. Any thoughts or other suggestions would be appreciated.

To prevent moisture buildup and improve performance, install a continuous air barrier—such as drywall or specialized membranes—under tongue-and-groove boards or other interior wall paneling.
