I cannot endorse the proposal.
But then again, I'm a remodeler.
Having had to take apart many things nailed off with those things, most often because it appears to be what they "had", not what they chose according to their specs.
Vinyl coated?
Never heard of vinyl coated nails, but i don't have a Paslode nailer.
Maybe you mean cement coated. Cement being glue that is activated by the friction heat as the fastener is driven into the wood,
I used ring shank nail for subfloors and, and somethimes sheathing for years, but not for 2x framing. CC nails for that.
As Calvin points out ring shanks are a bear to wreck, but only in the intial effort to pull them out. They seem to be hung up pretty tight in the wood fibers, but when you break them loose they come out all at once. CC nails seem to have a more sustained grip as you pull them apart, IMO.
