I was thinking of adding a roof access hatch to the house I’m remodeling. I’m thinking of a curb, like you’d use for a skylight, with a hinged door, encouraging homeowners to get up there and do routine maintanance without the need of an extension ladder. I could build the door, true, but I was hoping someone knew of just such a product. I’ve never seen one, have any of you? Thanks – Jim

*Thanks, Mike. I went to both the sites you mentioned and found exactly what I was looking for. It hadn't occurred to me they would offer a skylight that hinges open for egress, good idea.
