I need to figure out how to build a barrell roof the dimensiois for the rooof itself is 9 feet 9 inches and 3/8(w) by 72 in and 1/4. I am not sue how to go about figuring the cut for a barrell roof and looking for some help. any help would be helpful and any more information needed just write and I will be glad to give it to you. I'm not following your dimensions. What's the radius, do you know or are you looking for help finding it? Is it going on top of a building with the dimensions you listed. Which dimension would be the gable end or end of the barrel. I can help, I've built a lot of these and understand the lay out well, if you'll provide info.

Your radius is 59 - 15/16" I'd tack sheets of plywood on a wood subfloor to create one piece large enough to draw the segment, then cut it out with a jigsaw. If a round "truss" is required, cut multiple pieces and lam together staggering joints.
