Would one run flashing (purple) first behind end-wall flashing (in green) when running a metal roof?
It seems odd, essentially your nailing one piece of flasing to another.

Normally, when I do this detail, there's no seperate piece of flashing. The roof pan gets folded up the wall. In any case, if you can't flash well enough that one flashing won't keep out the water, then two aren't gonna do it either.

one hour in am at todays flashing, then off to gutter tomorrow, need the lumber list ( no change from the est by D) and 2" and 3" screws 5lbs o' each

The green end wall flashing is all I would do, but it does get backed up with tarpaper or I&W
