how did you get them that small and still have them look ok?

digital imaging software.

ACDSEE is a truly awsome image managing software.
Dclik an image (any format) and view it, dclik the view and see thumbnails of all pics in folder, switch to View Details or List and batch convert any or all to any quality you want.
Rclik a folder and see all images in there.
Navigate folders, move or copy images, call up your favorite editor, set an image as wallpaper, run slideshows.
I've got a shareware version, reminds you gently about every 100 views, hold the 'L' key down during long SS's, 1415KB in size.
Email me and I'll send it to you. I'ld post it here as an attachment, but the management always deletes any exe's.
If 2 or more of you guys want it I'll attach it and you can grab it while it's still up.

I was expecting to see a petite beach babe :-)
how does roof lantern become a beach babe????
aleks
skip the beach babe, that is an awesome roof window !
is this totally custom ? it looks like the inside is aluminum tube frame, is this correct or is it painted wood ? how about the exterior, is that a custom copper flashing for the glazing ?
really, really nice....
carpenter in transition
yeah its wood, red meranti ,not my first choice but it machines pretty well.
rafters have a roman ogee moulding on them.
on the top the glass is retained on epdm gaskets and an aluminium capping held on with stainless steel screws.
no copper. all the flashings are lead. fortunatley i did'nt get the job of doing those the roofer did them.
its a listed building and the conservation officer said that they didn't want to be a ble to see the edge of the glass from the street hence why its set so low in the roof.
its 2 metres square. ( 2'6"*2'6" in old money)

i was wondering about why the unit was set into the roof like that, which scares me a little bit from a flashing standpoint. is this also why the glass slope is less than the roof slope, to make it less visible ? Where did you get the glazing caps and gasketing ? was it a designed system ?
carpenter in transition
the cappings are part of a system that we use on the conservatories i normally do. mad eby a company called exitex in ireland they don't have a website that i could find.
this another system that we normally use because there is a cap that hides the screws http://www.twinfix.co.uk/twinfix_ref_300_1.htm
the roof drains into small lead gutters on 2 sides and onto the roof on the other 2.
i did my best to presuade them that the best system would be to have all 4 sides drain onto the roof but the conservation officer said that they wouldn't accept that.
i don't know what's availiable in the US as i live in the UK where conservatories are everywhere nowadays they the current thing to have.

Knocked up?
not in the biblical sense.
'To knock up' :to throw together in a rush. that sort of thing.
it was a job i got because i had the 2 days free to make and fit it before the roofers went in
