Hi All, I am hanging ijoists from a ledger for a porch project. I am going to demo the stucco and attach the ledger(PT) to CMU. My question is Do you use a membrane behind the ledger like a lot of people do on deck ledgers? Or is that just if you are using non PT lumber.

Go tight to CMU, no worries. It will be flashed from above and will never see water. Ledgers on decks get wet, so different precautions are taken.
