I have been getting a lot of repairs done around a house I have owned for 5 years. Just had a heat pump and air handler(installed in the attic) and I have roofers working on the roof right now. Well I went in the attic to make sure that the line set wasn’t going to get punctured by a roofing nail and I realized that the ridge board of my roof has actually moved.
At first, I thought maybe the roofers did something to cause this. I took pictures of the new ducting a few weeks ago and realized that, while it is a little worse now, it was already slipping before the roofers got there.
I have uploaded pictures, let me know what you think. Should I be concerned? What trade fixes these kinds of things?
The first picture is what the one side looks like the second picture is the slipped side.

I'm not a good enough framer to know what's going on with how it's framed, but is everything is level and plumb? I can't tell if the ridge fell off the 2x or did the 2x get knocked out from under the ridge? I'm thinking you need at least a good framing guy and at worst a good structural engineer to get some answers.
good luck
Thanks. Framing guy might be the answer. Hopefully not a structural engineer
