I don’t do alot of roofing,so I need some advice. I’m building an addition on a house, new gable roof meeting an existing one. The framing is completed. Is there an easy way to tie the new shingles into the existing without tearing off the entire existing layer on the main house? a way to weave them together? (3 in 12 pitch, 3 tab shingles, basic roof lines)

You don't have to sacrifice historical elements of a house in the name of energy efficiency.

I hope you have a good color match. You don't have to tear the entire main roof off but I would take it back far enough that you will be able to put ice and water sheild in the valleys. This may be only my preference but I have never had a leak yet. I think if you read the directions on your bundles the edge of the shingle has to be at least a foot past the valley so you won't have to remove to many shingles. You must have had to remove some for the tie in.
"Is there an easy way..."
No, nothing about roofing is easy! Especially not for someone with little roofing experience. Without an experienced roofer and tearing back, this is a 50/50 chance of leaking.
