I installed GAF three tab shingles about 2 years ago. I sheathed the roof with half inch OSB and 2 layers of 15 pound tar paper. The roof is passively ventilated. The shingles already have bubbles. I mean to call the manufacturer about the warranty. Can I get some advice on how to talk to the representative? What information should I have on hand? Thank you all in advance.

Proof of purchase, to show how old they are.
Any way you can prove they were installed according to the mfgr specs?

Thank you for your reply. I called the manufacturer and they will send a claim form, although I have no idea where this will take me. I think I read somewhere, sometime ago that warranty will not be honored on OSB roofs, although I hope this policy was changed with all the OSB roofs going up. The manufacturer's main office is actually not far away, so I am hoping that they will send somebody to check the installation.
