Rotten bottom rail on wooden casement window

Exterior portion of bottom rail of 30 year old (Malta) all-wood casement window has some serious rot. It is the crank out style. The window is 18″ wide X 38″ tall. I would like to be able to buy a replacement sash but not sure if the dimensions I need exist and if the cost would be reasonable. The other option is to remove the window and rebuild the bottom rail.
Anybody know where to buy the sash? Any advice on doing the rebuild…..I’ve got the tools e.g. table saw, miter saw, router, etc.

Unclear: Is it the bottom of the shash that's rotted, or has the frame rotted below the sash.
If it's the sash, check with the manufacturer. I know replacement parts for our 40-year-old Andersen windows are still available.
The bottom rail of the sash is rotted. The manufacturer, Malta, is no longer in business. Fenster makes replacement parts for many manufacturers' windows but say they don't have a lot of Malta parts. They do have a rebuild kit for Malta casements but I'm not sure if it is for my model. Plus the rebuild kit is about $250 and I don't want to take a chance that it won't fit. I may just bite the bullet and rebuild it myself.
It wouldn't be such a long shot to rebuild it yourself, or have a local window shop do it.
If you do it yourself you could take the cheap-and-dirty approach of only cutting out and replacing the rotten section, vs trying to replace the entire bottom style.
Too much rot. I would have epoxied it but there is not enough good wood to attach to.

The hardest part of replacing the bottom portion is finding a small mill shop cab able of and in possession of the proper knives to make you up the pic you need.
After that is cutting, fitting and assembling that pic to what's left of the sash. Since most if not all the sash I've messed with have the sides long and mortised to the bottom, your work might get more complicated.
post a closeup pic of what you have.
