On a detached garage….. slab foundation, 2×6 plate, rotten about half-way through the 2×6 and for 8′ of a 23′ wall. Fixes? I searched the archives and found a little info. would like more. I’ve got a hydraulic jack and a Sawzall, but I’m a furniture maker not a restoration carpenter.
Need some help folks. Thanks in advance.
