I just order one from amazon . did not get it yet , but a reviewer on amazon says to use this with the dewalt 744 you need to take off the rack and pinion. is this true cus a dont want to have to set this thing up for 1 or 2 cuts. i want to be able to drop it in and out as needed. someone over jlc said there 745 drops in no problem. but now i’m not sure. anyone else use this setup.

I don't know anything about the Dewalt for the 2700XL, I have a Makita 2703 in mine. But DO call the Rousseau guys, they have been very helpful to me.

Yep, call them and they will help out. I mounted a Makita in mine. It's a great table and fence. I suggest you buy a remote switch and mount it on the front of the table where you can get to it easily without having to reach underneath on the saw.
