Router bit- tongue on floor sheathing

I’m tired of dealing with T&G plywood that has an actual coverage of 47-1/2″ (I think this is called “scant face”). I want to get a bit that will allow us to use ten rows plus a finisher of 16″ or so on a 40′ deep building. The alternative is 11 full rows and that’s a lot of extra money in Advantech.
Anybody have any recommendation on what type of bit to use? I don’t know if you can get a bit that will give a tongue that mates with the factory groove or if milling both T&G is necessary.

do a spline....

If we did a spline then we would have to rip a groove in the piece rather than a tongue, and fabricate the spline. Do you have any ready made solutions for spline material? I can't think of anything other than 1/4" Luam that would work for thats readily available.

ten 1/2's is only five inches. How thick are your walls? I would split the differance. Start your plywood 2 1/2 inches in, and you should finish 2 1/2 inches short. Then rip a pice of 1x4 to fill in. Your walls will straddle where the two meet.
Our exterior walls are 3-1/2". We could use the 1x4, but that's kind of non-standard and may raise some eyebrows from customers.I realize that ripping a tongue on a piece of ply is non-standard as well, but maybe less so?

If you really want to go that route then get this:

Comes with multiple spacers and slot cutters.
Check out this adjustable T&G bit from Freud. Should be able to match just about any tongue or groove.
