Hi Guys
I need to a run a 1/4″ roundover detail along the wavey edge of a 1/2″ deep recess. All the bearing router bits I can find are 3/4″ deep. Any ideas? thanks ..

Construct the intersecting gable on the main roof for a faster, easier-to-build assembly.

Wow! Bummer! But a possible solution...
Mount two pins in the bottom of the router base as close to the bit as you can, both in line with the bit. These pins should be short enough to not hit the bottom of your dado but long enough to be good guide points.
This will allow you to use a bearing less round over see photo. If the wavyness isn't to quick and the bearing points not to far apart you might just be able to do it!

bummer in deed! .. unfortunately I have allot of inside and outside corners, I put "wavy" in just so folks would realize I couldn't just follow a straight edge .. thanks
Update .. found a cheap import bit, no extra material on this thing, now if the shank, bearing and carbide don't fly off .. I only need to do a run about 16 feet
thanks

If it is only 16' you could have already had it done by hand........
The old fart I apprenticed with told me one day as I was setting up a jig to never be afraid to use your hands.

I've got a kit of 1/4" shank bits that someone bought me from Home Depot. They're called Old Hickory or something like that.
Not high quality by any means but I'm pretty sure there's a bit in there that will work without bottoming out the bearing in the 1/2" groove.
Wane, here's a bit I use a lot on MDF. It doesn't have a bearing though.

thanks everyone, the easiest route was the el'cheapo's, it was a pretty twisted 16 feet to radius by hand, lot's of inside and outside corners.
