I am associated with our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. We generally build our own stairs. Until recently we had the loan of a stairmaking router templet. Unfortunately, it is no longer available to us. I have tried to locate another such templet but have not been successful. Does anyone know if there is a manufacturer making such a templet presently? If so, who?
Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Dale, There is a company making this tool that is located in England. http://www.trendmachinery.co.uk/homepage2002/ I beleive there is a company in New York also making a stair template called "Stair Trac" I just made my own template and it does a great job.
