The delivery van is enroute, so this is the first post of a little photo series.
We will receive, lug down, assemble and install this kitchen, which is in one of the walkout lower condo units of an Adirondack-style lakefront unit, that has seven units, total. We’ve already done two.
First, a ski report. 7 degrees at dawn, blue sky, no wind, Whiteface 100 percent groomed overnight, and things were as good as it gets. We’re gonna ski each a.m., then do kitchen stuff each p.m. until it’s done.
Here is the kitchen, as conceived.View Image

I (im)patiently await your picture series. All the detail you can get, please.

What software is that you're using? Sketchup?
Yes, it's SU.
Gene,
IIRC this is the thread you said you were to document the install of the KD/RTA cabs.
I have a project in the pipeline for this type of work and would love to learn from your experiences.
Hope to be updated shortly.
If any of you have been wondering why there are no followup posts from me about the kitchen, it is because we had a flub-up.
Of 4 skids, two crates, and two boxes in the total shipment, the freight company misplaced two of the skids, one of which has all the hardware, instructions, and other stuff we need to get started. They went to California by mistake, and had to get found and turned around.
So, they should arrive next Tuesday, and we will begin on Wednesday. In the mean time, we are trying to ski in this sub-zero weather.
What did it take to convince the shipping company to extend your skiing? ;)
My first rule of skiing:
The temperature MUST rise to zero before I walk out the door.
I think I'd modify that to "Wind Chill" in your case.

Skiing must be really good<G> "But to be honest some folks here have been pushing the envelope quite a bit with their unnecessary use if swear words. They just put a character in to replace a letter. But everyone knows what they're saying." Sancho
Really good, but REALLY cold! I started another thread, 'cause I couldn't find this one, or remember what I called it, or something.
Meanwhile, my pard got sick, I got sick, freight line lost stuff, Scherr's screwed up, yadda, yadda, yadda.
We're going in there late today to finish what we can, with the parts we have, so we get enough installed and the c'top work can be templated.
Got a link to the other thread? "But to be honest some folks here have been pushing the envelope quite a bit with their unnecessary use if swear words. They just put a character in to replace a letter. But everyone knows what they're saying." Sancho

Does that work? It is in the Construction Techniques folder.
You run out of Ritalin?<G> Outside of the gates the trucks were unloadin',
The weather was hot, a-nearly 90 degrees.
The man standin' next to me, his head was exploding,
Well, I was prayin' the pieces wouldn't fall on me.
It's on another thread. I don't remember why, but I began a second one. All the pics are there.
Maybe it's Alzheimers!
Maybe you can use the search and find it. Try using blumotion as a search word.
