Running electrical cables in finished basement
What you see is a section of my basement wall where I’m removing the drywall and remodeling. Looking at the electrical cable for the outlets, it runs behind the framing not attached to anything until it gets to the stud that the outlet is on. So, is this ok? Running the power cable in between the framing and the concrete foundation? It won’t be a problem to attach the cable any way it needs to be done, I just want it done right.

Code requires staples or horizontal support (holes in studs) every 36" and within 6-8" of the box. Wire should be unkinked and relatively flat (vs spiraled/twisted). It should also be 1-1/2" from any surface that might get punctured from a nail (centered on the stud/plate/blocking). There looks to be some slack but even that is 'ok'. Can't tell if this is Romex (ok) or extension cable wire (not ok).
