I hope this doesn’t raise anyone’s hackles, being about a trailer, and not a “Fine Home”…
I would like to know if any one knows of electrical circuit diagrams, etc… that will help me to understand the electrical service in my RV Trailer.
It is a 1981 homette trailer. (Layton on the side and front.) Model 75-2430 BH
20 foot or so.
There is a heavy metal box in here with all kinds of wires. The mfg on that is B-W Mfg. The model number is 3240 CPX.
I need to know what all those wires are, that are coming out of that box.
I also need to know exactly how the battery recharge and backup is supposed to work. It is very obviously not working right now.
Thank you in advance.

Hey Luka...I'm a fellow RVer.....I have a 32' Holiday Rambler Motorhome. Rving is the best way to see our country.......been to most states........Wyoming is our favorite place to visit........Tetons........Yellowstone......WOW!
The big metal box is the power converter.........110 volts to 12 volts...........charges your batteries and runs all your 12 volt items in your coach. B-W is gone.......it was bought out by MagneTek.......and then bought out by Parallax. http://parallaxpower.com/ I'm sure if you call them they will send you the specs.
Repairing a motorhome is like participating in a scavenger hunt. They are such a mish mash of parts. Mine's a GM chassis, Volvo air conditioner, chrysler dash controls, headlights from a car...it's amazing how they put these thing together!
Need any more help......let me know!
