I am looking for someone that owns a Ryobi sliding compound miter saw to give me their opinion/review of this tool and its capabilities. Please respond.
Thanks,
Brad

I have made the mistake of buying several ryobi power tools over the years, trying to save a buck. All have been junk!!! I do own a ryobi salt water spin reel that has caught alot of fish, If you like to fish buy the reel, but spend your tool money somewhere else.

I used one briefly to cut some 11 7/8" TJI45s (they were 1/8" too thick for my Hitachi). Its no Hitachi but it seemed to be OK for its price. I allways thought that I should have bought a small Ryobi radial arm saw as a backup and for stuff too thick for the sliding compounds. It was light enough to carry up a ladder and looked like it would hold up for infrequent use.
