Does anybody know if any of the newer 10 portable table saws fit the original Roussea stand the one made for the old style Makita 8″ tablesaw? I love the stand, the saw’s about worn out, and I don’t want to buy a new saw AND a new stand if I don’t have to. But I would like a 10″ job saw.
Thanks–
Mike

You face the exact problem as I. I have the same setup as you and don't want to give it up, but the saw is about 15 years old and been reconditioned twice. The new 8" saws don't fit the old Rouseau stands let alone the 10". The only solution is to recondition your saw or look for another saw on E-bay, they are there. Perhaps you could get a welder to modify it to fit. If I have to bite the bullet I will, but I'll probably get the newer Rouseau setup this time for a 10" saw. Rousseau was the first to come out with this sort of table and they proved to work so well that other companies are making them just for their own saws. The Rousseau is higher quality however.
Thanks Jer--that's what I was afraid of. Guess I know what to put on my Xmas list!
