To Whom It May Concern;
We have new beautiful windows in our new almost finished house. Some how, I think, when someone was cleaning them, they got scratched, multiple fine scratches.
Maybe razorblade? Is there a way to buff them out, or polish them out, or is there a chemical treatment? Please advise?
Thanks,

If you are not the GC, tell the GC that the scratches are unacceptable.
If you are the GC, call an automotive windshield repair outfit. They repair scratches and pits all the time.

i worked on a house once and the painter put scratches all around the panes in geogian style siding sash windows.
on the south side they stuck out like a very sore thumb.
the builder had to change them all

If the scratches do not catch your fingernail, Cerium Oxide will do the trick. It is a powder that you mix with water to make a paste. Rub in a circular motion...not just in one spot.
If the scratches do catch your fingernail, there are companies that fill the scratch with epoxy then buff it out.....like those windhield repair guys.
