Hi all,
on a recent visit to Iceland, I got intrigued by some siding details I spotted on several buildings. With the harsh weather whatever they build must be long-lasting and holding up.
On the attached pictures I noticed that below the wood siding with 1/4″ gaps, there is a dark fabric (venting?) and most likely a vented rain screen space behind.
I would like to replicate this technique with the dark fabric behind the siding but have a hard time finding a product that will do the job. It needs to hold up to the weather, UV, and rain/snow over time.
Any suggestion on what to use or an example/article of where this setup has been installed?
