I bought a Quik Drive screw gun and broke the drive shaft the first day. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with the QD2000? Can anyone recommend a screw gun that uses collated screws that they are very satisfied with?

Do you have a Dewalt drill on it? Thats your problem, I broke mine the first day, because as a left hander I hit the reverse. Took it back to my supplier and he put a Porter Cable drill on it and fixed the driver, no charge. Said that some others had the same problem with the Dewalt.

Thanks for your responce Barry. My QD2000 did come with a Dewalt drill but I'm right handed and was driving it with the switch in the forward position. Plan on taking it back to the supplier tomorrow to see what they're going to do.
