I’m having trouble finding a SDS shanked nut driver for my 3/4″ Bosch Bulldog hammerdrill. Once-Upon-A-Time my local tool supplier carried these, but they claim they can no longer get them. The socked was the same hex dimension as the shank on my screw driver bits, and the driver could be used to drive tapcons with either phillips or hex heads. These drivers are very convenient, but I’m down to my last one or two. Does anybody have a source for SDS shanked nut drivers?

Bosch is still making them. Even the Big Boxes carry them. United and whitesde has them also. Add Graingers to the list.

WOW!!! What a Ride!
I'm still having no luck finding an SDS-shank nut / screw driver bit - driver. I can't find them listed or pictured on anybody's web sites, or my Grainger catalog. I can find "chuck adapters" and chisels and bits, but no replacements for my last lonely nut/screw driver bit holder. I'm in Florida and we have Grainger, Home Depot, and Jim & Slim's and none of them seem to be able to get them, either.
I found them on the Bosch web site. Which SDS HD are you using? Regular, plus or Max.... That just may make a difference. BTW, which sleeve?
I'll go to the last known place that had them. Do you want them sent from here if they have then and since it's Friday it's more than likely it'll be Monday or Tuesday before I get there.
Slim and Jim's... I know that place well. They still in St Pete / Clearwater and did Jim beat his cancer?Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.... I don't know either Jim or Slim personally, although I've met one or both of them once or twice in the original store in Largo on Belcher St. They've got the best professional inventory in the area.
RE: the SDS - regular (ie - 10mm dia shaft) screw driver bit drivers - I don't see any stamped part # on either one of the two I have left. The hex socket is about 3/8" deep with a magnetic bottom to hold in the steel bits. I feel pretty dumb because I've gone to the "Boschtools.com" website, too, and I STILL can't find the little buggers!
Thanks again.
Slim of course is the stocky 6'2" one with the thinning hair. Where did they move to or did the open the second outlet like they wanted to???
If find what you want you want them shipped from here?
I won't look till Monday or Tuesday.Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.... WOW!!! What a Ride!
If you find a source I'll just order what I need directly. Thanks again for the help.
Jim & Slim enlarged their original store by quite a bit about 10 or so years ago - wow how time flies. They've got a second store on US-19 in Palm Harbor.
I was looking up Jim&Slims Palm Harbor address when I found another way to navigate through the BoschTools site, and low and behold, there it was, under SDS accessories - I've printed a picture and part #. I'll take that over to JIm & Slim's and I'm sure they'll be able to order a couple of them for me - I've got an account over there.
Thanks again.

So far, Lowe's has offered to special order them in at $20+ ea. Next time I'm in Largo I'll swing through Jim&Slim's to see what they'd get them for. I'd pop for the $20 but I wanted to get about 10 of them so each of my guys would have one and mine wouldn't be so apt to grow legs in the future!
I'll take a look at the begining of the week and let you know what I find.Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming.... DRAVEN, this is what I found out.
Both sizes are in stock for the 3/16 and 5/32" dia. Both are approx 5$+ plus taxes and shipping.

3/16" & 5/32" dia. sound like masonry screw (Tapcon) pilot bits at $5. ea. I don't have any problem finding them here. The SDS shanked screw driver bit holder / nut driver, has a hex socket, like a socket wrench. No dia. dimension on those. Thanks for looking, but I think that's the wrong item.
I chased down the wrong item. What part # do you have for what you are looking for....

if makita ever made them check with Louis Williams & Sons of Hendersonville, NC. if you search for "makita tools" they'll be one of the top listings. this store is THE makita source on the planet.
