This is especially for Paul Hayden:
Got the 1/2″ foil faced iso (Thermax) up and taped, and ready for the wall sheetrock. This foil faced iso is acting as thermal bridge blocker, radiant reflector, and vapor barrier. Do you think it will be worth it to lay a pretty good bead of caulk along the upper corners before the top sheet goes up? To seal the corner from any potential air leaks. I tried to make sure to lap the ceiling poly down under the foam board when it went up, but think I missed a few places where it got folded up under the ceiling rock.
If caulk, what kind would you recommend in $ versus effectiveness?
