Sealing new shower grout…
We recently purchased a new house with two large showers made with ceramic tile and sanded grout. What is the best product to seal the grout? We have heard suggestions from Rain-X to car wax, but no one seems to agree. Any suggestions??

Disclaimer: I am not a tile pro, but the consensus on this question seems to Aquamix brand products and that's what I used on ours based on those recommendations. Easy to apply and works great. I used the 15 year Gold, but Aquamix has lots of products to choose from. You'll likely be able to find some of the products at a big box store near you.
Can't help but wonder if you might run into some problems or conflicts if your grout has been previously sealed with a silicone based product. Hopefully someone with more expertise will chime in.
