I have a new wood burning stove. The double walled pipe enters the attic through a metal fire block. However the block does not seal tight to the pipe. What chaulk or foam can I use to seal this block so as to stop air from moving up through the gap from my interior chimney chase?

Google "fireproof caulk".
Google "fireproof caulk".
fireproof caulk
Sure, I can do that. And I have.
I guess the questions are:
Is chaulk the right product?
Is a foam better or possible?
What is typically done at this gap?
this'll put a smile on your face;
If you stop that gap up with anything you will violate the fire rating on the pipe assembly I believe.
What did the pipe manufacturer suggest?
