I’m new here; I usually post on OTF.

Situation: I’ve just finished grouting a bathroom floor I’ve tiled with Mexican Salillo tiles. Hand-made terra-cotta tiles, quite thick. I’m going to seal with Dura-Seal 500, which I’ve worked with before.

Problem is: Neither the can of sealer nor the bag of grout give any hint of how long the grout should sit before I can seal it.

The only <a href=’http://www.canadianhomeworkshop.com/saltillo_soul_guide2.html’>article </a> I’ve found on this says three weeks are necessary, which seems excessive to me.

Any ideas?
