I’m a partner in a small LLC in New England and I’ve been charged with researching marketing resources. We as everyone else have been struggling to stay busy this year. We are in a small market in Vermont and have primarily used word of mouth, truck signage, and the sporadic ad in radio or local newspaper. We have a decent website. Does anyone use google ads? We have several younger partners who are talented but need to move out from under a few of the older more established GC’s. Any suggestions?

I used Google ads once to promote a small non-profit venture. They are at least cheap, and your capital investment is low.
sounds
like you have a decent small organization
everyone in your company belongs to something
and every something has newsletters, fundraisers, church bulletins
at one of your company meetings.. bring it up .. tell them you are interested in advertising in their organization
it is much more cost efffective than local newspapers
there is an exception to that.. our local paper is a weekly...
it is mailed to EVERY household in the town and lots of adjoining towns
i know that every ad i run there gets mailed to EVERY home
but a LOT of the work we've gotten over the years is from people i associate with in various organizations
here's another tip ... yellow pages
we have a one line FREE listing in a category with NO OTHER listings
we get about 10 calls a year from that and i pick and choose the ones we want to go look at..
look thru your yellow pages.. think of a listing that would have no others in it
then cancel your paid ad that has 500 listings in it
