and will be competing with stock orders from HD, Lowes, Omega, etc
Why waste a cabinet shops time, when you are mostly interested in cheap ####?
22 ft. He's redoing a double wide.
the cabinet makers here will be offering a higher end product than you seem to be looking for. most woudn't even bid, i bet.
Ikea has some great stuff, too, so be sure and check them out.
Local MFR./shop vs. Lowes or HD? LOL!
Yup. Just do Ikea/flat-pack.
We use cabinet shops when we want a better product than what is seen in the shops you describe. To some of us, it matters. Those to whom it doesn't or don't know the difference, like the crowd is saying...
There are times that a cabinet shop will come in less than the ones you mention. But under the specs you provide, you'll never see it happen.

"specs"?
Was the 22' of cabinets the spec?
Pacific crest is a local co. but not cheap & were a bit snooty when I walked in wearing my work clothes.
Superior is another local co. not cheap & fully willing to work with anybody.
The OP needs to provide a bit more info.
That, the knowledge of whom prices will be compared against. And having no controll over install.
My cabinet guy wouldn't respond to the solicitation even if he wasn't doing anything.
if your actually looking for superb quality then I know the place, they even have good pricing. probably wouldn't beat the box store on straight pricing, but they're product so much better. if your interested, email.
I also have a manufacturer that ships to Hawaii regularly, high end condo's. they're very good, but in no way inexpensive
You all know that HD and Lowes has different cabinet ciompnies that are very comparable to custom. Just becauses it comes from a big box, doesn't mean it has to be average quality.
not to hi jack but has anyone seen SuzieKitchen as of late?TFB (Bill)
nope
My cabs (built in Oregon) were bought at one of the big box stores, not the cheapest bid, but cost per what I wanted it was the best choice for me.
Bingo!
Just because it is sold at the big boxes, doesn't mean it is bad, whether cabinets or tools, or floor covering etc., just like anything it is dependent on what you are looking for.
well if you check this again, your email is coming back as undeliverable?? don't know if the info got through or not, but I tried. Now I see you've checked out of this post alltogether??
