I’m looking for self closing hinges for a screen door. I remember reading about some that raise the door as it is opened. Need to find the name of hinge and source.
Thanks

Hi Vince,
Standard spring hinges should do the job. (Home Depot) Is there a reason why you have to lift the door as it opens?
Gabe
*Cafe hinges lift when opening. Have not heard of a spring hinge that lifts. It would bind at the top till the door was 90 open and the top cleared the jamb. There is a bottom weather strip that retracts up when open and then snaps down when closed. This will allow the door to clear a rug inside the door. There are spring hinges for screen doors that are surface mount. It slams the door much like a spring mounted to jamb/door would. If you have kids, you might want to use a hydraulic closer found on alum. storm doors. Best of luck.

Your thinking of rising butt hinges. These are handed and are common in england but rare in the us. I do have some but they are not for exterior use.
