What’s the better of the 2? The 20 is newer model?, but the A9 costs more. Is the 20 new and improved and cheaper, or just cheaper? What should I buy?

jeez, louise....that's the thread I thought I saw the other day, but breaktime's search engine wouldn't find it for me....and it's still a current thread (posts yesterday and today). Thanks, bobl for the link.
Looks like I'm going for the A9.
Thanks
I don't know this for sure, but I believe that the A9 lacks magnetic tip. I have used a Senco palm nailer in the past (don't know which one) and don't think I would want it without the magnetic nail holder.

My A9 came with the magnet as standard equipment. The non-magnetic version is an option, probably for use where magnetic dust is a problem.

The A20 is just cheaper, less heavy duty, more of a pro-sumer tradeoff version.
The A20 drives nails from 6d to 16d. The A9 does the same out of the box, but can with accessories also go up to 60d.

John,
I called Senco's tech line bout this same question. The adapters to allow the 16-50 penny nails will fit either nailer. I was told the only differences are one came with a one (?) year warranty and was imported, the other has two (?) year warranty and made in USA. The US version is more rugged/durable, but other wise they are the same.
(Not sure about the warranty lengths, but it was something close to how I have it.)If everything seems to be going well, you've obviously overlooked something.
