I have a Senco P1130 hot-dog oil-splash compressor. 2 months past the end of the warranty. Motor doesn’t quite get up to speed before the breaker trips. I tried a new capacitor – no help. Does anyone have a motor wiring diagram of this thing before I pitch it & get a new compressor?

change the oil to a lighter and see if the unloader valve is doing it's job...

Thanks, I'll give that a try. If I disconnect the line from the compressor to the tank, it seems to run full speed but still trips the breaker after a few seconds.
reed valve sticking...
faulty breaker...
thickened oil...
motor windinds on the way out...
do you have an amp meter and can you check the amp draw of the motor???

Ray,
Get a point file and clean up the contacts in the pressure switch.

It can also be stuck centrificical start switch.
Lots of cheap things for you are a repair shop need to check before even thinking of a replacement.
And none need a wiring diagram.
But if the is one of the tightly packed systems then a exploded part diagram might be helpful to find out how to access stuff.
