Senco trim guns – are they oilless?
Got into a discussion yesterday with a buddy about nail guns (imagine that) and he says virtually all Senco trim guns are oilless. I’ve had a couple since the early 80s and I love them, but I’ll be danged if I know for sure if I’m supposed to oil them.
Anybody know?

it should say in the owners manual. the sf40 that I use (senco finish nailer) states that it should not be oiled. Some of the newer guns have a plastic in the cylinder that oil will deteriate, is what I'm told.
I've had SFN-2 since the early eighties and it needs oil ..or so they say <g>
my SFN-1 is a little newer and is oiless and so is the staple gun (SKS). my oldest pin gun also needs oil
