I am running a succesful Remodeling business right now and I’m looking to expanding to service contracts. within theese contracts people would pay for a certain amount of hours upfront to get 1 to many hours per month for use to do many different things such as.
- Replace furnace filters
- check the batteris in smoke detectors
- have fire extinguishers tested for charge
- replace light bulbs anywhere but mostly in hard to reach areas
- door knobs
- adjust windows and doors hang pictures
- get the plumber or electrician to fix any of the problems that they can only fix
- pretty much do anything the home owner / apartment owner / business ownerwould like to have done
If any of you have experience in this area I would love to get your input. I am really looking at promoting it on the radio / newspaper so any suggestions would be very helpful.

Blues, my setup is different. I charge a fixed fee to do certain work including a thorough inspection. The work to be done includes some items on an as needed basis. The fee is based upon the size of the house (or condo) and amenities.
If you email me with your fax, I'll fax you the inspection report for condos. Better still, I'll convert it to a pdf file (I use a Mac) and email it to you.
