Does anybody have experience with the service magic company as far as generating leads for your company. They charge 100.00 for contractors to join and then you pay for the leads. A bathroom remodel lead costs 36.00. I haven’t tried it and I’m looking for input from contractors that have used it.

I've used it, It's a pain. It really isn't worth it. 99% of the leads are tire kickers. It's a waste of your money. Don't be fooled by the ready to hire tag. They are just kicking tires too.
Can't I go 1 day without spilling my coffee?
That's what I'm affraid of. I don't think paying 36.00 for a lead without being able to qualify the customer first is the smartest thing to do. I'm wondering if anyone has had success with them.
WHAT!!! $36/ LEAD, not JOB!!!
This means if they find someone who needs a new bathroom, the more people they send over to price it the more money THEY make. I don't get it. What's in it for you? It's paying them to work against you.
Take the $99 +$36 and think of how it could be better spent to secure a referral or even job. I'm thinking gas for trips to Arch's office "just to say hi" or cool screw driver or level to give to a GC you've done lots of work for in the past, with a "Saw this and when I was buying myself one I though hey ____ could use one too!" This is if you have the $135 to invest.
