service panel near shower stall????

My house is on a crawl space. My service panel is in the laundry room wall —-on the other side of the wall is the bathroom with a shower stall (fiberglass). some of the wires including the entrance power cable after they go down inside the wall from the entrance panel then go through the subfloor into the crawl space , then turn and go in different directions- some run under the shower subfloor area. is this a problem? if the fiberglass stall ever started leaking — would the wires – romex, and the service cable (an oblong gray wrapped cable) — short out???
is this common?

I had a shower leak onto a panel once. I had to fix the shower and fix the panel.
When a tub or shower leaks it can leak on anything under it. So you fix it.
But design so here is nothing below the shower or tub isn't necessary.
