Setting small odd shaped tile pieces
I’m putting a mosaic tile counter in my bathroom. I’ve got a couple of small odd pieces that don’t seem to work with thinset. Is it possible/reasonable/advisable to place these pieces using grout when I get to that stage? Any other suggestions? Liquid nails maybe?
I know I should probably not worry about the little grey corner of tile, but….
The mitered ends are a different story. I just realized that they have no back. Just a knife sharp edge.
Thank you in advance for your input.

Small trim pieces are often set in grout. I do this when I can't risk moving the piece to clean out excess thinset.
Thank you for your input. The project is moving along again
