Hi all,
I am a contractor in Vermont who is curious about other companies price per square foot numbers are. We do framing, siding, and window and door installation “in house” and everything else is subcontracted labor. Our price per square foot for labor can vary, but usually lands somewhere around $10-$20 per sf under roof for framing even on the most difficult jobs. For siding we are about $600 to 800 per square but I have less reliable data on that. Anybody want to chime in? I’d love to hear other people’s experiences and gain some insight into the best ways to gain in efficiency while still maintaining the industry-leading level of quality that we are known for.
